Gallbladder treatments

Non-surgical treatments include dissolution therapy and lithotripsy. Unfortunately they have a poor success rate and a high recurrence rate. This is due to correction of the symptoms (stones) rather then the cause (the gallbladder).

Gallbladder surgical treatment

Gallbladder surgical treatment are often required to correct gallbladder problems. In most cases this means that the gallbladder is removed using laparoscopic surgery.
