Causes for Women's
Bladder Control Problems

There are several reasons why mature women can get bladder control problems. Menopause is not the only reasons. Other reasons include:

  • Infections in the bladder or urethra
  • Nerve damage from stroke or diabetes
  • Medicines
  • Heart problems
  • Immobility
  • Feeling depressed

    Whatever the reason for your bladder problems you should always contact your local health care team. They can help you with a diagnos and probably also with your bladder problems. Sometimes the cause of the bladder problems is stress incontinence or urge incontinence. Urge incontinence is when the bladder's muscles squeeze at the wrong time. There are several execises that could help these bladder problems and there are medicine that could help too.
